the story of hee hee

who knew that the simple utterance, "hee hee", could be at times be so charming and at other times so utterly annoying! henry, age 3 1/2 years, has decided that this is his catch phrase, something akin to "right on". today i asked him if he saw the garbage truck out the car window and his reply was "hee hee". i asked him at dinner if he had a good day at school, and again, i got the, "hee hee". super cute; who could resist such a simple and creative use of the english language. however, our new hairstylist asked him if he liked the rain today and again he delivered his now standard, "hee hee". okay, that time it was a little bit annoying. oh well, who am i to squash his creativity; at this point, i'm too tired to squash a bug.
